If you are religious then you may have a difficult time with traditional dating practices. This is because your particular religious upbringing has inspired you to find a mate who believes the same things. It can also be further complicated because your parents will always support you if you follow their beliefs. In this article will provide some help and how to use online dating to meet your religious beliefs.
I am not particularly religious. I did grow up going to church. And I even went to a church-based university. Yet I had a couple experiences while dating where religion got in the way.
My wife is happy that these didn't work out but I want to share the stories anyway.
The first girl I ever had a serious crush on in high school was a member of the Pentecostal church. I did not understand what that meant. I just knew we like talking to each other and that she was pretty. And that she had really long hair.
As with much first time loves this didn't work out.
It also wouldn't be my last time the class of religions interfered with my dating wishes.
In college, I had a friend who was a Jehovah's Witness. And we both had a crush on each other. I got along with her entire family. Yet they were very Orthodox in their beliefs. And she turned me down. Not because she didn't like me. She just didn't think the fact that I wasn't used to their traditions. That it would be a fun courtship for me.
And this is all before the creation of online dating. Which is even more intimidating.
It is hard enough for people who are not particularly religious to find a match. Because there are so many ways to have her profile.
Some sites are just using your photos to see if someone thinks you're hot or not. And are just use to create a profile for hookups.
Others do use more comprehensive profiles yet they aren't always clear about how to use that data to find your match.
And if you do want someone of your specific religion then you have to try even harder.
In particular, if you are a practicing Muslim then you may want someone who has your same beliefs.
There is a new site called helahel.com is set up to help you find a match for you. And it is dedicated to only the people of the Muslim faith.
I hope that you find someone who is the love of your life. And you never know where you're going to find them. And if you are religious they make sure you use dating sites like helahel.com that match to your faith.
